Venture Capital also referred to as VC in the business environment, refers to a type of investment done by the investors in entry-level businesses and startups for its expansion. In venture capital financing, investors are at a greater risk as the businesses are not yet fully developed and are in the early stage of their revenues as well. These investors or venture capitalists receive a percentage of the equity of that business in return for their investment.
